Wow, all this sandwich talk is allien to me as a european. All we do here (at least in the south) is just a boring bread with meat and cheese and some salad/tomato. Crusty bread with marmalade and smoked meat sounds delicious, gotta find a proper recipe or a place that makes them.

Love me some Bambi.
Although I despise sitting around the woods waiting for some thing to happen, I will happily tromp out at a moments notice to "dispose of the evidence" for trophy-hunter types. The only redeeming quality of living in the south, lots of macho hunter types who don't eat what they kill.
Homemade bread out of the oven for a couple of hours. Trader Joes smooth peanut butter. Homemade cherry preserves. Just a touch of honey underneath the peanut butter.
Pol Pot was evil, no doubt. But the death toll in WWII Europe, trump the casualties in Vietnam/Cambodia.
And yes, I am fighting on the interwebz about politics...

Watch the movie Food INC and I am sorry that you won't enjoy some food that you might be eating already. You can apply the information to not only animals, but fruits, vegetables, and anything else that you are not digging out of the ground (if you see the movie, that is)

GMO food is almost unavoidable at this point, but you should try to limit it as much as you can.
Ever since we watched that movie, we eat only locally-sourced meat and veggies. And man, it's not expensive or anything, but we do only eat tomatoes and stuff in-season. Which can be a bit of a bummer.
Grass-fed beef is like eating veal. Tender, flavorful. But not huge steaks and not a lot of fat.
Buying meat from your local grocery store is a tasteless waste of money. Kinda like playing any cab except a fEARful (sorry guys- just kidding. But I had to do it)
Not as systematic. Much of the death was from poorly conceived and implemented industrialization plans.

My drummer was looking for some Bongripper vinyl. He was looking for Great Barrier Reefer and Satan Worshipping Doom. He said he found some vinyl on Ebay for $100... any tips on where he could score?
As for meat, you guys know what I'm about. However, when I was a youngster, we took cows to butcher all the time. You really have not eaten meat, until you eat something natural like that.

Pol Pot wasn't working with as large a starting population. 2.5-3 million dead out of a starting population of about 7 million is pretty horrifying, IMO.
Though yes, when you include the death toll from WWII, nothing since then comes close.
And we're not fighting about politics. We're discussing whether which historical/political figures since Hitler can be reasonably compared to him. Totally different and not ********.

We were a couple of days away from announcing our mini tour with Borracho and Lo-Pan, and Lo-Pan had to back out because they got offered another national tour. Happy for those dudes but man am I upset. Started planning this thing months ago and now that all the details were almost finished, this happens.
Borracho and I are gonna try to salvage it. Probably play at least Pittsburgh and DC with us, Borracho and Been Obscene from Austria which would be cool as hell. Might try to add on Dayton or Philly or something. The whole 3 band 3 day tour doesn't work as well when one of the bands is from Europe and can't locally host one of the shows.

Interesting, those 6x10's are deceptively small though. I'm probably about as tall as that whole stack. They had one of those 6x10's at the music store i went to over the weekend and the Acoustic 2x15 right next to it dwarfed it, and the Ampeg 8x10's across from it looked like citadel's in comparison.
