SADOWSKY IS THE BE ALL AND END ALL

I have to say, as someone who has owned 3 Sadowsky's now, and who just recently sold off a beautiful M5-24 in favor of IMO the best Pbass I've ever owned played, I have this to report:
I suddenly have that 'not so fresh feeling'
It hurts when I pee

Sadowsky= great, but a copy cat "Vintage" "Ultra-Vintage"
Lakland = great, but Bob Gluab Model "Right" its called a Precision. Joe Osbourn I think it was called a Jazz since Dec. 1960
Ken Smith Design??= What disregard for Leo, I think it was called a 1970's Jazz bass. So, Ken designed this OK.
Mike Lull= great, L4 another copy cat of a great design
Alleve-Coppollo=Great, again most everone has to copy the original. KBP is a P-bass. Standard=jazz
It would be like other auto companies copying a 1957 Chevy Bel Air and calling it a Sadowsky auto Standard. I just may have given these guys an "original" idea. Sure you can put new electronics and modernize it and put your logo on it. However, did you design it and I wonder how many of you Sad, Lull, KSD, guys (who like REALLY cars) would be outraged if someone actual did this. Fender deserves the respect for such timeless designs that will out last us and our children. Yes, all of the companies mentioned do make great stuff, including Fender.

That's how I got my Sadowsky...I traded one of my kids for it. But since I'm a typical TBer, I'm not overly concerned....he'll probably make it back to me in 12 - 18 months.
BTW, when shipping a child, spend the extra money and go FedEx with signature on delivery.
