Was there any arson last year when they won? No there wasn't.
OK, OK.. sorry about the arson remark. It was 12:35 in the morning and I was a little punchy. I should be content that my team won, and not have to throw bombs. My bad.

Whinning about refs? Man they suck!!! Facts are fact!!
Both teams got their share of calls. Did you see McDyess take about nine steps in the first quarter and not get called for traveling?

As far as the officiating, it sucked for both sides, David Stern should tell the officials that people aren't paying to watch them. I don't think anyone on either side wanted to see star players sitting in foul trouble especially for the ticky-tac crap they were calling on post players thirty feet from the hoop. BUT I DO NOT blame the officials for the Pistons Loss.

Dave as far as Arson we quit doing that in Detroit about a decade ago, nothing left thats flammable! Now we let Michigan State do it, several couch's burn when state plays in the NCAA's every year. If your really concerned you can join SOFA (stamp out furniture arson) I think there on the web!
:D

i haven't posted in this thread in awhile ...

first off , the officials did indeed suck , not just this last game , but the entire series , imo .
both teams got their share of calls , good and bad .
say what you will about flopping , uncalled fouls , missed traveling calls ,
there were plenty of missed calls on BOTH sides ...

i just think the Spurs have a deeper bench , with seasoned key players.
the Pistons put up a great fight , just came up a little short in the end...

hats off to the Pistons and their fans ...

i can't decide on the series MVP for the Spurs ...
Robert Horry , Manu and Timmy D. were all fantastic ...

oh well , i can't wait till next season !!!

Yes, personnaly, I think that good referees are ones you don't remark that much during a game, those when you hear a call you say: "there are referees there??", and despite some very big names where in those Finals, they all sttrugled!
NBA will help them work during referees summer camp...Forgot them!

Concerning the Finals, that was great to see, can't wait to watch it, and I hope that TP wil continue to improve and be an All Star...

I agree with you.
However, I think TP has a loooong way to go to become an All Star.
I wasn`t very happy with many of his decisions, but he`s still young and also very skilled, so I believe it`s possible.
