Sansamp into an IR loader/cabinet sim

Does anyone have experience playing a Sansamp into an IR loader/cab simulator like a DarkGlass element?

Example: Bass --> ParaDriver DI --> DarkGlass Element --> Studio Monitors/Recording interface

I would like a good preamp pedal and Sansamps are the industry standard, I love how they sound. But a lot of them have an always on cab-sim effect to them. Would they play nice together or would it be like butting heads? Unfortunately I cannot try before I buy I'd be ordering blind.

My assumption is that since people commonly use them as stomp boxes before a traditional bass rig with good results that it would sound fine?

Our pedals work very well with impulse responses. We use analog speaker emulation. There are no phase or notchy peaks and valleys in the signal that will conflict with an actual speaker or IR.
So if I was to add a Cab sim only so no di out on the pedal how would it go in the chain before or after the Sans Amp which I currently use as my Di out, no stage amp.
thanks

Here is how I am running it
I have decided that I will play all of this years shows without a amp and cab on stage.
I had on my pedal board: Polytune 3 Tuner> Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor> Boss CS-3 Compressor>Joyo Dyna Compressor JF-10>SansAmp Bass Driver DI V2.> FOH back to my>Rolls PM50se Personal Monitor Amp.

After some research I have added the Nux Mini Studio cab sim pedal.
I received the pedal yesterday and after I uploaded the firmware, I went on to test the best way to get it to send a cab sim out to FOH.

After getting some advice from a TB member tech32nyc who is part of the SansAmp family :), had suggested the cab sim should go after the SansAmp, which is what I went with. After a little tweaking I found the perfect blend of the two pedals. Since the Nux pedal only has 1/4 in and out I had to add to my board my passive Di box.
So now the board has:
Polytune 3 Tuner> Boss NS-2 Noise Suppressor>Boss CS-3 Compressor>Joyo Dyna Compressor JF-10>SansAmp Bass Driver DI V2>Nux Mini Studio> Passive Di> Foh>Rolls PM50se PMA> IEM.

Tested it on my Alto PA system I have at home and it produce the cab sounds I was looking for, it was great to get a mic'ed cabinet tone coming through the pa without a cabinet :)

The Nux Mini Studio has the following cabinets to choose from, there are 8 in total (but you can add many of your own).

1.Aguilar DB 810
2. Ampeg SVT 810
3. Mark Bass 410
4. Trace Elliot 410
5. Ampeg SVT 410 w/ Tweeter
6.Fender Bassman 410
7.Eden 410
8. Ampeg SVT 212

To see everything and hear what this sim cab pedal can do, checkout TB's own Ivanbassist he is the reason I went with this pedal Thanks Ivan :)

Nice! I have a similar setup with Sansamp PSA-1 and Torpedo CAB (for e-guitar). After the PSA-1, I can load my IRs (Ownhammer California Duo) into the Torpedo CAB, which also offers power amp simulation. I am wondering if it is reasonable to use CAB’s power amp simulator (while having the IRs loaded), while having the Sansamp’s drive knob at 0?

You can try if you like. The circuit in the SansAmp does emulate preamp and power amp characteristics. I have a Cab M Plus that I use with my real amps for live use in place of a mic and sometimes with our SansAmps. I always turn the power amp sims off on that unit.

Does the Sansamp emulate cab characteristics too? If so, isn’t it redundant to put a cab sim after the Sansamp?

Our SansAmp's have analog speaker sims included in the sound. The speaker sims vary from product to product. The analog speaker sims utilize a mild EQ curve that is voiced for a more even response. You can run an IR after the unit or run our pedals into a power amp and bass cab if desired.
