"Serious Sasquatch discussion" is an oxymoron.I miss the serious Sasquatch discussion.
Our poll shows 65% deniers....hardly an overwhelming majority.
TBOT hardly a representative sample of normal people.
The OP is asking the wrong question. "Do you believe in Sasquatch?" No, of course I don't. I don't believe in the Easter Bunny, either; nor do I believe in Santa Claus, or in the Tooth Fairy. Do I think there's a possibility that a large, anthropromorphic animal is running around in America's woods, and has so far managed to leave no undisputed physical proof of it's existence? I'm not going to rule it out completely; but I'm not holding my breath for it to show up, either. Now, it would be a different thing completely, if Sasquatch showed up at my front door tomorrow, offering lawn maintenance services at a good price....
The more scientifically appropriate statement would be something like, "we have yet to discover sufficient credible evidence supporting the existence of Bigfoot. More research is needed, please send money to fund this research".
for me to use; guess I better start. Story of my life.
