NICE!! I've thought about going this route but wasn't sure I'd like the look. Went so far as to photoshop a mock up, but you really can't trust that too much. Yours looks awesome!
I’ve been out of town from last Wednesday until yesterday. Ordered on that Wednesday and it arrived in two days on Friday. In my eyes, she’s a beauty.

I ordered mine (Silver Shadow) Thursday morning and UPS must have misplaced it. I got a note from UPS Sunday saying that it was scheduled to arrive between 11:15 and 3:15 Monday. Then Monday (yesterday) I tracked it and it didn't show out for delivery but one screen said by 7 PM and the other changed to showing between 12:15 and 4:15. Well it never showed up.
Today it says we'll notify you of your delivery schedule as soon as possible, but still showing in-transit and in the details the last scan was last Friday morning in La Mirada, CA. Not too promising from where I'm sitting. Very bummed out here.

The reason I ordered one was that I love my SBMM so much. Much more than basses that cost 4X as much as sad as that is to put into print.
At some point you need to share your thoughts regarding the difference between the two short scale Stingrays
A disclaimer... I have both as well although I've had the SBMM defretted. I can share my thoughts after @Treblefree
I’m in the same boat and because I seem to be exclusively fretless these days, I’ve been debating having my starry night defretted. I think it would be a downgrade to its looks, and while me SBMM defret went okay, it’s not without its flaws.
Do you think about defretting your EBMM?
I'll be glad to if I can get my hands on it. Now UPS tracking says "will update expected delivery date as soon as possible". Tomorrow morning will be a full week since I ordered it.
I will say I have high expectations already though. My SBMM has a natural mwah to it on the D and G strings that just gets better above the 12th. It has great tonal options. I love every pickup selection. I think that you had yours defretted is a great idea because it already has that character to it. I expect more of the same except maybe a better overall feel with better components.
