That's GREAT! What color did you go with? Oh and if you get that tort PG let me know. I want to change mine out too. I just can't send mine out, as I am gigging now, and I use mine alot.

White was my choice too. I originally got one in Blue, but never liked the looks. I think TORT would really dress it up.
I would have preferred my white with a maple board actually, but it doesn't bother me really.
Actually, one of the things I really like, based upon what I've read here, is that this seems to be a reasonably-priced instrument that would require almost no mods at all to be a very playable bass. I typically wind up doing so many mods that any money I saved on the bass is spent on making it work the way I want. Now to choose - white or blue....
I like the idea of a decent 5-string P. Looks like the pickup is placed a touch further back on the body than a standard P. Can a decent P tone be dialed in, or does the positioning affect this? (I'm asking because this will be the first P bass I've owned).
I'm not crazy about the 5-in-line headstock, and am guessing that this, combined with the 35 scale, is what keeps this beauty from fitting in a standard hard case.

Have any gig/action/you playing the bass shots?
