Schecter Owners Club, part 3

Got a New/Old Bass today. Or, I ordered it and it finally showed today. Serial # indicates a 2003 build, even though these were only 04-05 runs, if I recall correctly. Anyway, the Diamond Series California Custom 5 is Here!

She got some New Strings and a DEEP Cleaning tonight. Good Lord, I can't BELIEVE how Nasty some places will sell used instruments. But, she has a TON of Potential and I am looking forward to spending some Quality time figuring her out! :bassist:

Can I get a number? Bought this guy a few months ago and think it's a 2004 Studio Elite 5. The neck serial number starts with '03 but it has a single diamond on the twelfth fret instead of two like '03 and prior had. Also, I'm probably missing the obvious but the diamond doesn't look like what I've seen on others.

I was Amazingly Surprised how much I liked this Bass from the Second I got it out of the Box. One of the main reasons I ordered it was because it already had a Seymour Duncan in place of the Stock EMG pickup. It sounds HUGE! Like, CRAZY HUGE! :hyper: It is also in much better shape than I anticipated it being in. Really only one small ding in the middle of the knobs. Other than that, swirls I will be able to polish out! She got a DEEP cleaning tonight and new strings. I am Really Excited about this one. It has such a Unique feel to it. Anyway, CHEERS Fellow Schecter Brethren! :bassist:
