I just looked at the back of my headstock and it is the same. LOL. 
Mine is a 2004 where yours is a 2001. I thought mine was an 01 for some reason, but it Taint.

LOL. I don't want a Stargazer, Brian! I actually just found a 4 String Cali Custom to match the 5 string I haven't even received yet. I threw my credit card into my laundry basket with my eyes closed so I would have a hard time finding it.

I have a Diamond Series Cali Custom 5 on the way. I picked up a Model T, Diamond J, and Stiletto Studio Fretless in the last 3 weeks. Today, online, I came across a used DV-4 in Trans Dark Cherry that has had the EMG HZ replaced with a Seymour Duncan. The Duncan is my Preferred Music Man style pickup. At the Price it was listed, I could NOT resist. I am so going to be Domestic Violenced by my Wife.

There are a Bunch on eBay right now. They are Spendy compared to USA Prices, unless going Custom Shop. But, DANG, some of them are SEXY.

Yeah some are crazy expensive but man that blue one is super sweet. Way out of my price range. Was wondering if you all new if they are Korean made and only for the Asian markets or if they are producing basses in Japan.

Indeed I am. From the photos it looks like it has black hardware. The US ones have chrome. I wonder what other differences if any there are.
Schecter use "black chrome" finish hardware on many of their basses. Here's a photo of my Hellraiser Extreme 5 showing the bridge and knobs. Personally, I like this finish, I just hope it can stand the test of time.

Im with you on the black chrome. I know the black chrome well. Two of my schecter have it. But in that photo the hardware is definitely black.
In terms of it standing the test of time.... Ehhhh. My 8 STRING hardware has developed some corrosion. My elite, not so much. But I have been diligent about cleaning it. That's why I'm intrigued by that bass having the black hardware. Hopefully they will start doing that here.
