Stiletto Deluxe-4. Upgraded the pre to a Glockenklang 2 band. I love this bass...I just wish it were a 5 string.
I'm really loving my Schecter so far. It has such a smooth neck that I can't seem to put it down. I got around to making a demo video of it in case anyone is interested in hearing what this sounds like:

It's done by a complete amature (myself), was really just a test and a product of boredom. I stripped, sanded, and repainted it myself. I'm currently working on completely replacing the electronics. Thinkin about throwin some EMGHZs in it. Maybe some Duncans...

Good bass choice. Checked out that jams as well. Never really been into the death scene because I tend to leads twords a more technical side of music. Not bad for an EP recording hope you didn't pay too much for it though...
I'm not into what I play either, I'm more of a thrasher, and we payed $2500 for the recording, it was done by the former drummer of Straight Line Stitch. His name is Kanky.
You could have gotten better quality from a semi-decent studio like the one I work at. I don't know about the ones around there but the one I work at has the hook ups to get your cds shelved. We charge 30$ hr (first hour free each day for set up) and that includes free mix and master. Never herd of that guy.
There is only one studio we knew of, but last time we recorded there, we kinda pissed the owner off on accident, he ended up messing the cd up to get back at us for it, so we had to go with somebody else. This guy is really good, quality wasn't an issue, he told us everything had to be perfect, which meant numerous retakes were needed.
If i record a bass track and mess up a little here and there I usually just let it stay. The human ear loves hearing inperfection. Look at any iron maiden album

they FINALLY put some active EMGs into one of their basses. the TWs with coil tap and an 18volt 3-band preamp. that should be a pretty popular bass. although with the pickups/preamp and ebony fretboard, i can see this costing more than the stiletto elite and studio basses.
yeah it's gonna be a couple $100 more than the Studio's it looks like but, wow I am really liking the direction they are going this year. The Baron-H is back and C-4/C-5 re-designed looks nice as well. Very impressed.
