Hey what is best between the Warwick Streamer Rockbass 5 String and the Shecter Stiletto Standard 4 String?

If my criteria for best is one with five strings, then the Streamer, without question.

Best for what? They're very different intruments.

Just overall. I'm looking for a new bass but I don't know which one... Not in terms of strings. In terms of features, playability.

I've never heard of the Stiletto Standard, I assume you mean Stiletto Custom. Back in the day I came very close to buying one, great player imo, and they make it in a 5 too. Never played the Rockbass Streamer, but in terms of features, easily the Stiletto imo.

Schecter all the way. MOre versatile sound, playability, and personally better aesthetics.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm still sort of a beginner. I am looking to buy used. Do u think I must stay with 4 string or move to 5 string?

Oh and sorry I meant the Schecter Diamond series Stiletto Extreme 4 string vs Wariwick Rockbass Streamer Standard 5 string

I'd honestly still pick the Extreme over the Rockbass, 4 or 5. It's $100 cheaper and still has better features.

The Schecter's neck is comparable to a Fender Jazz, maybe even slimmer, if you like slim necks and as long as it's set up well, it will play well. At that price though I'm thinking you're getting it used, if that's the case use the same precautions you'd use purchasing any used item. If you want a 5 string though, I'd still suggest one of the Schecters over that particular Warwick/Rockbass.
