what do you guys think would have the better neo-soul, r&b, gospel, funk, sound? two separate mini 12+'s or just one 1212. i emailed jorg and he said that using separate mini's has a tighter sound overall while the 1212 is rounder. i just have no frame of reference since i've never heard any of them before. i'm just going by words now. i would also love the fact of just hauling a mini 12+ at 22 lbs. when needed (like practice) and then combining them for bigger things. the regular mini 12+ is also feasible...how do these sound? has anybody combined two regular mini 12+'s?
I'm considering a similar setup right now. I'm looking at using a mini 12 and a 12+ together, both for big gigs, and just the 12+ for small gigs. I want to replace my two aguilar gs210's with these cabinets and

especially for gospel slap/pop, something with 10" is essential. just has that attack and punch. IMHO, the 21012 would be fierce. i'm actually REALLY gas'd to try this for myself.

Man, just when I finally have a Schroeder on its way, a these neos are out.
I really hope someone posts a indepth review of the differences in tone between the neos and the regular schroeders when they come out. Now the wait begins...

Lane on the Eden site is talking about the new Neo speaker cabs coming out. He seems excited. I don't think they will be ready for NAMM, but they are soon to follow. He's talking about lighter weight also.
I'm having the same problem as buzzbass in my 310212. When I crank the 300 Pro, it gets pretty loud, but one of the 10s ( the top one I think ) starts making that same farting noise you describe! and overall, the cab is not that loud at this point (my two hartke 410 cabs are fine at louder volumes even?) do you think this is a fedex been playing basketball with my cab issue?

a single cab has a more unifying tighter and sometimes deeper feeling low end. the separates i've tried in comparison seem almost louder, but then arent quite as "together" nor as deep feeling. single cab tuning? perhaps, just speculating. but i've tried many times to go the separates route (Acme B1 pair vs. Acme B2, Epifani UL210 pair vs. Epifani UL410 -> UL310), and just liked the single cab sound better each time. again, IME.

because of a cock up with my bank ive still to give Jorg my money before i can get my 1210. he wont get it till next week but all this talk of cabs arriving broken is making me very nervious.
it wont stop me ordering but as im here in the uk i just hope nothing happens on route.

Dave, relax. The problem lies with the shippers, not Jorg. He's pretty pissed at what's been happening too. He sure didn't sound too thrilled with Fed-Ex when I spoke to him saturday. He's bending over backwards to make it right. He's sending me a new driver which will hopefully fix me up until the replacement cab is built and shipped. Jorg knows how to run a business and keep people happy for sure. Even though I haven't heard my cab running on all 8 cylinders yet, I would have no problem handing over another large chunk of change to Jorg for another cab. There will be a 410 or 21012 in my future as well.
I don't see where Dave put the blame on Jorg... I will probably order a cab from Jorg soon and I am also nervous about that. I mean, if things break within the states, imagine in a journey from the usa to europe..
