+1. Hearing Ken's 1210 definitely gave me respect for the Shroeder stuff.
YEAH! So shut up, you Berg-bastage... ;)

I Seriously gotta' get into a 21012 Lite later this year!!!!!

I'm goin' up to an IL dealer to check them out on the floor and make sure that's the one I need. Hope to do that this month, even tho it'll be a few months before I can buy.

Jorg rawx. :)

Just wanted to publicly thank Jorg and David Burgess (Green Square Music) for the service regarding my 1212. I purchased mine when the web sites were still specifying cast frame woofers. When I expressed my surprise at finding the cab loaded with steel frame drivers Jorg offered to replace them with the cast drivers. They arrived last week and all is good. Thank you gentlemen!

you really need to chill bud. I posted that as a "stretch" and stated so in the post to prove that a clear CUPs line *is* drawn and is enforced. Larry's dealership was not know, and is now.... thanks.

I'm sorry if my "story" was taken wrong and personally. Sometimes the eggshells I walk on aren't enough for my thick skin ;)

As far as disclosure... I never pay 'quoted' prices be it my house, my vehicles, my gear. I paid plenty for everything you've mentioned.

I'n case you haven't noticed... I've deleted the offense post (as this one will be as well in a couple days)

back to Schroeder content... I think I want to trade my Mini12 for an 8ohm 1212 without tweeter :bassist:

Nice non answer, and I'm chilled just fine thanks. And just so we don't go off topic, I'd like to hear the 1210 with the "less" agressive tweeter.

I really hate taking yet another detour on this thread, but James, you really did take a poke, and a groundless poke at that, at Pat and/or any dealer whom he may be affiliated with (which is no one, to the best of my knowledge) with the comment below.

So, I wouldn't say Pat is the one with the thin skin, here. That seemed to really come from left field, so don't act surprised when it evokes a negative reaction. Keep it about the cabs, man! ;)

says you... If you don't get a little favoritism for your time and energy maybe that is more a reflection of the dealer himself :hmm:

And you ARE mistaken... if you've got a problem with my posts, report them. I've overstepped no ones bounds.

let me make it REAL simple for you people...

I WAS FRIGGIN WRONG AND DELETED THE OFFENSIVE POST!!!

but I will say Tom, I was referring to my "insensativity" or "Thick Skin".... I NEVER implied Pat was thin skinned. The second quote from me was deleted hours ago.... and I have an important quote for you

Rule #5: Questioning a Moderator...
If you have a disagreement with a moderator (If your thread gets deleted, if you get a warning, etc.), DO NOT post your complaint publicly on the forums. If you have a problem with a moderator's actions, PM or email the moderator privately. If the moderator's response is unsatisfactory, email the administor (username: Paul).

We take all complaints seriously, but posting your dissatisfaction publicly will result in a rule violation.

Fair enough.

And I presume that complaints about somebody's general comments in a thread (and not an official action as a moderator) would not apply to Rule #5, right?

Tom.

Well James, I hope this post isn't taken as "questioning a moderator", but does that apply to EVERY forum, or just the specific forum that particular moderator moderates? In your case, this would be "Bassists". I interpret that to mean that if on the '"Bassists" forum, somone has a problem with an action you've taken, post you've deleted, etc., that they should take it to PM rather than posting on that thread. I did not take it to mean that you could never be called out on anything you do. My sincere apologies if I was wrong, but I didn't take that rule to mean that anyone who posts as a moderator could not be questioned about anything on any forum.

PS..on topic, I really like my new Sadowsky cab.
