Oh yes, he is. I have the SC 6 fretted and I honestly can't wait for it's fretless twin. The playability on this bass is just fantastic. Thanks for your honest opinion, hope to meet you in person in the near future.

Do you own a screwdriver? They come off pretty easily with a few left-handed twists.

Ok, not sure how I missed this thread and these cabs for the last few months that I've returned to lurking around here... And well, GAS is at an all time high. But I couldn't stand to read it anymore once I got to page 30 or so without posting...

I think it's about time to sell off these huge overweight boomy (but bright and clean up high) BXT cabs and pick up one single 410 and give it all the plx1602 has...

I haven't been happy with my sound for awhile and my new band really has me wanting to be a better player, but every note I play has my mind wandering and messing up parts, and that was no more apparent than on our very first gig this last weekend. Sure it sounds 'ok' up close, but even with 115 and 410 walk 5 feet in front of it, turn your head to look at your drummer, and you can't hear it. I've never been able to get clean loud lows without making it muddy. Sure my Cirrus basses aren't the baddest axes in the world, but they sure sound 'good'. My current setup doesn't do them much justice.

I think there may be a new post in the for sale section for some ampeg cabs :)
