I had a post showing the link fixed, but someone saw it fit to delete my post. My site was hacked this past week and I've been trying to get everything fixed. If you find any other broken links please e-mail me. Here is a post again stating that it is fixed with out posting the link. Sorry the Mod had to delete my original post, but the Link I posted a general pricing for the cabs and had nothing to do with me personally just the cabs. You will notice a few New additions to the price list.

Anyway, Happy New Years to everyone!!!

No real surprises there. About what I figured.

Have you had a chance to check out the 3101212 personally yet? Or do we all have to wait until after NAMM?

I'm still super interested as to when it will be available for sale, and under my rack :)

They are available. The wait is 4-6 weeks, they are on custom order bases right now.
I have not played it personally, but I know Jorg has tested it quite a bit indoor and outdoor. Nice plus, to having a cabinets builder thats a musician, he can test them........

Any Schroeder dealer can take order's for any of the New products. Plus I'm sure plenty info will come out from NAMM on the New cabs as well as Video's.

I've posted a portion of another post I just made in a cabinet help thread. I'm hoping someone will post a review of the new Mini 12+ after NAMM. Jorg's and Nick's cabs are easily my favorites of those I've played including AccuGroove, Aguilar, Bergs, etc... I believe this Epi is going to fit the bill beautifully but being the chronic GAS sufferer that I am I'd be interested to see what everyone thinks of the Schroeder 12. It'll be 500 watts at 8ohms compared to 300 so I'd bet louder, but one of the things I love about the Epi is the low end girth for such a small package. I wish I could make it to NAMM this year. . .

. . . I'm buying an Epi 112 right now and I've had a 1210 for about 2 months (I've also got an Epi 212 Custom cab but it doesn't see much use because of my size/power to gigs ratio). Let me say, I am VERY impressed with the Schroeder. Yes, I know, big surprise. . . but I was very skeptical at first. After having the cab for a while, it does cut like crazy, has a sweet high end, and is tremendously loud and clear. More aggressive than the Epi, but not in a harsh or unpleasant way, and decidedly more mid-heavy (hence the serious cut), but again, not in a "honky" way -- disclaimer: this is not a racial slur.

I've decided to buy the Epi for several reasons: while the Schroeder is light and compact for what it is (a 12, 10, and horn) it's noticeably larger than a 112 cab, and a recent gig that doesn't require tons of volume does require me to hike about a hundred yards to load in. Since the Schroeder is my smaller cabinet right now, it's becoming a bit heavy (this is a 3-4 night a week gig).

Secondly, I LOVE the Epi tone. My 212 cab is huge and sweet sounding. I love the Schroeder too, it's just different. And I think the tone (and size/output) of the Epi is going to be more than sufficient for this gig. So when it arrives and I can run a little comparison b/w them (maybe I'll run the 212 through the motions as well) I'll post them here if it'll help. . .

I recently received my 1210 Shroeder from Jorge and Brian.
Man Oh Man!!!
This is the first cab I have used that bought me out of the shadows and right smack dab into the front.
It definately has a mid bump that's punchy and tight. I love the sound. I could have easily overpowered the band if I wanted to. (I love that feeling)
Our band had the first gig of the new year last night and toward the end of the show I had a couple of players in another band comment about the cab.
They were floored! They commented on how great the Bass sounded.
"What are you playing thru"? "Who makes that cab"? "Where did you get it from"? They asked.
It made quite an impression.
Thanks Jorge for a great product that satisfies my needs and for your great customer service.

I got my 1212. Played through it a bit, and then listened to CDs through it for the rest of the day while I worked :D

CDs actually sound quite good through it. I've got a mind to take the grill off and get a look at the back of the tweeter and find out who makes it, because it is really sweet. Considerably less strident in the mids than the horn on my EA CXL-112. I seem to like the 1212 for non-bass instruments more than I liked the 1210, which I recall being less smooth in the upper mids. This one is smooth like butter in the mids and highs.

As I found during the shootout Scooperman and I did a while ago with the 1210, the low end and midbass is not as smooth as on the EA, but it is more pronounced. (The EA likes a bass boost on your EQ.) There seem to be some little peaks and nulls in the response, but nothing extravagant, and they're kinda hard to pin down and seem to vary depenging on the angle of the cabinet to my head. This is in a very small room so I know I can't totally trust this impression.... and I'm pretty demanding in this regard. but the EA doesn't strike me that way, so maybe there is some validity to this observation. But anyway ... more importantly... playing bass through it just sounds and feels great :hyper:

Unfortunatly I won't get to play it in anger soon, one of my bandmates quit so there are no gigs on the horizon :crying:
