I use my Shroeder 1210 last night at a private party in Honolulu.
Interesting that when asked to turn down, the tone and punch is really subdued.
As the night moved on and we turned up the power,the cab seemed to come alive with mucho tone and punch!
I don't believe these cabs were meant to play at low volumes. They rip!

Smash suggested I might post this here. This is Pete Skjold playing my newly de-fretted Ibanez on his Schroeder rig. I believe he's using an alembic pre and power head with it. My camera doesnt do an awesome job with this volume and stuff, but I thought it actually came out pretty well. The Schoeders do wonders, they can even make a cheapo $200 bass sound awesome hehe.

PS - I dont remember which cab it was plugged into, he has 4 different ones there and all were stacked up together, so couldnt tell you which one was being used of the bunch, I didnt look very closely.

Used this tiny, but deadly, rig on my 3+hour blues gig on Saturday night. Sounded amazing, and filled the room with ease. Handled the low B of the Bongo with no problem, and people were certainly having no problem wigglin' their bottoms to the bass. :hyper:

Hmm, are you playing it through the browser? You might right click and save target as and play it from your desktop. I just checked it, its playing normal speed for me. Unless it was a joke about Pete's playing, he is fast hehe.

I had two gigs again this weekend, and was the 2nd time I was able to really bust out the Schroeder.

Still only powering it with my III-Pro, but I can turn it up enough to make things work. And I just need it for monitor purposes as the outdoor PA had two dual 18's and inside we just used our Mackies, which do good enough for that crowd. :P

But, it's awesome how much this thing can do when just powering it with only about half the juice it can take. I can't wait to get a freakin' awesome power-amp and max it out on this cab. The speaker moves a lot, as other people have noticed, but some cabs do, some don't. Don't ask me why! :P

I love this thing. Can't wait to add a 1212.

Sweet! I can't wait to move up there so I can take my old Charvel in to get it worked on and Pete can make my bass look that good. ;) hehehe

Just a little disclaimer, I did the work on this, just used Pete's shop and instructions. Pete doesnt do this type of work regularly, he'd rather be building his own than fixing or modifying someone else's. So anyhow, just dont expect it and maybe he will feel like helping you out and have the time, but no guarentees.

Also, Pete and I have become friends, and Im helping him out with some website stuff in trade too. So not something for everyone, I just lucked out hehe.

No, I'm serious. I've tried it 3 times now and its in last forward.... kind of funny.... also scary, why is mine doing different then everyone elses. Its pulling windows media up.

Hehehe, yeah I was just being funny. Still I'm sure someone at the shop can do some setup work! My Charvel needs it. It'll still be nice to be able to come by the store and hopefully one day commission an instrument from him!

The cones on my 1210 or 1212 hardly move at all with either of my PLX's or Thunderfunk......must be a damping issue.

Just got through a nice loud practice with a band I am filling in for and all I can say is WOW!!!! I will never have cabinet GAS again!

We have an outdoor function on Friday, and then a club gig on Saturday. I don't think I will have any issues with this amazing 410 beauty! My post title says it all for this cabinet.

yes i am pete! i really need to get a gig soooooooon! i've been cranking it in my appartment (during the day when everyone is at work) but its annoying when you rattle everything off the shelves!

lemme know when you get your new "jazz" stage series basses, i'll make the drive to try one out.

hey man, you can stop by anytime and I was the one that told Juneau he'd better tell people that we don't do that kind of thing as a business( because I can't turn people away :bawl: ) but I try to help people locally whenever my schedule is open..
