Schumann PLL

Wild pedal, very cool of you to search and destr... search out and share with us  I had no idea what to expect, and it sounds pretty damn cool; My first impression is that the Schumann's tones are obtainable, though not without a score of other pedals, and surely not in a single box.. let alone one that looks that f'ing cool! Lookin' forward to more clips! :D

Finally got a chance to listen, neato and even badical stuff. Definitely reminds me of some Trogotronic devices. Actually it sounds like a Noise Box and Trogotronic 667 met at a party, engaged in some premartial horizontal shenanigans, and then spawned a mature little freak destined to not only improve upon its parents' foul behaviour, but to retain their spirit while refining the inherent crudeness all the while.
Moted. :D

Everytime I've harkened back to that little bit of nostalgia around people not from California I'm told that they don't know what I'm talking about. I wonder if it's a regional thing or a generational thing.
Judging from the fact that nobody else responded, I'll assume it is indeed a generational and California thing, haha.

Since he's a decade or so older and (I believe) grew up in California I was going to ask bongo, but apparently he got moted by jt this morning. Moted hard. :atoz:

Back on topic, I've tried a few very expensive pedals and generally been underwhelmed. Being rare and a collector's item does nothing for tone after all. The MuTron Flanger goes for upwards of $1800 in good condition and all I could think while playing with it was, "this is it?" But something like the Infinitphase which does crazy things that no other phaser does is a different story.

And the PLL is obviously a very unique pedal. I'm not sure I want to know how much you paid for it grygrx, but it definitely brings the crazy. And maybe it's just me, but it actually sounds much more usable than a lot of the other crazy noise making pedals around.
