Second date

+1 on the Dirty Lixx concert, maybe get mellow to dedicate a song while recreating the forest photo shoot?

Otherwise dinner and a church-burning.

In all seriousness, if you made it past the first and shes excited, that is a good sign. Or she is going to harvest your organs.

Harvest time, is really the most lovely season of the year. Very romantic.

hmm...a lot of girls are NOT into fishing.....

Especially anyone that lives in the city. An outdoorsy type girl living in the countryside, that might work, but otherwise im not sure. Definitely you'd want to find out if its something they might like before even bringing it up.

If I think of all the girls ive been with, its safe to say none of them would have liked to go fishing.

**** i'm a guy and im not into fishing. (though I somehow did do it as a kid a lot)

Well, may be for you but the OP is a outdoor person.
I know that I would not care to date a woman that does not enjoy nature and the outdoors.

I am a hunter but realize that most woman do not care to hunt and the seasons have to fall in place for that to happen.
Instead of taking a date to a zoo to see caged animals I have taken them Photo Hunting and get close enough to wild game to photograph.

Step outside of the same old date box and have some fun and show them something about yourself.
If you never, ever go to a play or museum why be phony and take them there? If they love that kind of stuff and you really don't, why are you dating them?

NO MOVIE. LAME. Movies are for ball& chain/ slow entertainment when you have no time or energy or effort left & weak excuse for a date.
get out do something involving culture or being in public so you can show off to the world you're on your 2nd date (she's the star of the show not you). trust me on this one.
& do something cheesy like get her a flower she can put in her hair or somewhere.

Did you know?
Buy someone flowers & take it to her house where no one can see--that's nice. How pleasant.
Buy someone flowers & deliver to her workplace early in the morning Monday so everyone all day can see it the whole week--ROCKSTAAAAAAA

Honestly, I'm a bit progressive when it comes to gender roles and such. Often, if a first date goes well and she seems into me, I'll often playfully suggest that she has to take me out on the second date. I'm looking for a partnership, so it's a little bit of a test. If she balks, then I know she's probably way too traditional for me.

YMMV, of course.

Never spend money on something that looks pretty then dies in a couple days and gets thrown in the trash. Unless you're trying to make up for something you screwed up, in which case it's money well spent. ;)

Your city have glow in the dark indoor mini golf? Good follow-up to a bowling date.

You know I used to kinda sorta look down on mini golf...until I tried it. I would totally take a date mini golfing. I like that its made in such a way that you can only get so good at it because of a lot of randomness involved. I though i would suck so bad and yet I wasn't far behind people who played a lot. Like at bowling you definitely have to get the knack of it first. But mini golf, not so much. It's never that easy and never that hard. So it makes it more fun for everyone involved.

Definitely as mentioned anything that makes it hard to talk like movie or clubs/bars/shows is to be avoided.
