Second date

Start the second date with "Does this wet rag smell like chloroform to you?" and she won't give you a lick of trouble. She may drool a bit, some of them do, and don't forget to support the neck or it gets floppy on the way to the waterfront van. I prefer moving blankets and zip ties (not the crappy thin ones, the bigger black ones, and always double them up) as well.

Have a great time.

Ha ha, like I said I was looking for more "logical and practical" second date ideas...although some great ideas if I actually did not like this girl enough past the first-second date. She is a smart gal and overall fun gal. I know it's early but I really want to play this one right. Although of course snow is coming this weekend (God forbid it come through the week once) we're going to play it by ear and worst case is we grab some food and a couple movies and cuddle up to my fireplace and go to the zoo and go karting some other time. Of course I have 4x4 on my truck but I hate ice.

All kidding aside, the plan the two of you have worked out is a good one. Have fun!

Just show her your junk, the 2nd date will take care of itself :D

Second date, especially after all that activity on the first, should be nothing but a simple dinner at YOUR favorite restaurant. (Don't take her to a chain!) Take her someplace locally owned, with real character, and a menu heavy in daily specials. Think chef-owned with a good wine list if possible, but that also won't kill a budget.

One on one conversation reveals true compatibility.

I really crashed and burned on most of my first dates. Then I asked a woman I worked with to go out with me and we played pool and drank some beer. We did this on probably our first four dates. Then we branched out to dinners, a play, and some movies. That was twenty-five years ago and we are still together.

Anyway, drinking some beer and playing pool can be fun if she is of age and into it.

A play, a stage production, an exhibit, dinner theater, cultural activity of most any kind is generally good...even more so something that stimulates conversation and gets you into each other's head a bit. Which is really where you need to be at this point: learning who this person is. Opinions on art, music, society in general can give you a good idea of where this person is ideologically, and if there's common ground there.

I am sure they are awesome and sounds like a plan for some day.

Exactly. I don't understand the FB hype anymore anyways. I figured if she "friends" me then I'll accept.

I am still debating though whether to just wait for our date Saturday or ask her out to a movie tonight.

Forget the games, just go for it bruh. She is obviously into you, no need to be coy.
