Seven @ the Bug Jar 3/15/18

Nice to see some familiar faces and places on talkbass. Also good to see Tough Old Bird is still going strong! Always enjoyed the tunes.
When I saw "BugJar" I had to check out the thread, but I remember playing shows in Fredonia with Matt as far back as 8(?) years ago. I played bass for Honey Spine, Bold Folly, and Hunting For Teeth.
I remember a HFT gig at the BugJar with my old Fender 300watt tube rig... no PA or DI that night, but we were still worried about the couches falling off the ceiling from the vibrations. Also, right around that time, there were quite a few break-ins into bands' cars where equipment went missing. I vaguely remember news of the shooting, but that stuff happened in Buffalo too. Can't let a couple of bad eggs ruin the fun for everyone, right?!

Bold Folly sounds familiar. So you went to Fredonia? Are you from Buffalo?

Yup, graduated from Fredonia. Grew up in the Southtowns, but did live in Buffalo for some time after college. Bold Folly is still a band, though they revamped their sound and line-up after I moved down to FL. Very talented bunch. You should give them a listen sometime if you get a chance!

BTW it seems like every band I play in has someone that went to Fredonia in it!
