This way others looking for info have 2 chances to find it. EB tech is pretty rare, so it's good to haveThank you. Was originally thinking of posting it here, then wasn't sure if it would be appropriate. Hence the new thread in a different category. What can I say except I'm still a newb on this forum.
That is going to have me wanting one of those for my Epi.
Hanging any bass by the headstock with a purpose built guitar hanger will not damage the bass. The tension of the strings pulling the bass in compression is far greater than the weight of the body of the bass pulling in the opposite direction. If anything it actually relieves a bit of stress on the headstock. The only real watch outs with wall hanging are as follows...Will the headstock of my Epiphone EB-3 be ok if i wall hang this bass? I am asking this question because the epiphone eb-3 is a lot heavier than most basses and if i wall hang it will this damage the headstock?
I just picked up a 2011 SG special (or faded, whatever they called it that year) in cherry. I've been playing shorties for years and love them, but this thing has authority! Don't know why I waited so long. Thanks, all, for keeping the SG in the front of my mind when the Christmas bonus showed up!
How did this turn out?Hey guys I am a new clubmate. I just got a 70 eb3-l and put some pyramid flats on it. The e string is amazing. I switched the E and A tuners, because I could on the slotted head stock. ITS THUNDER. Does anyone know if my reversed tuners fit in an epi hardshell case?
I didn't get a case yet. I plan on ordering one soon. I will definitely post results. For now, gig bag and careful placement are its friends. How did this turn out?
No need for a number, thanks. We never heard back from you, would you like a Number?
We would love to see the new bass!
No need for a number, thanks. I'll get a photo next to its Guild cousin soon. I did learn a good lesson at my NYE gig; the bridge pickup pulls like hell on the strings if it's up too high! Backed it down considerably between sets and it sounded much better! We never heard back from you, would you like a Number?
We would love to see the new bass!
From what I have heard, they are pretty decent. Never seen one in the wild thoughAny Tokai SG bass user? I really want some information about this bass.
