Wow. Digging those mods. What pickup is in the bridge of the light blue les Paul junior? Looks like a single coil P bass pick up? I presume you just put the original mudbucker cover back over the top of it?
Yes, i did. The pickup is actually a custom made split coil with large alnico magnets. The grey one is a stacked humbucker with neodymium magnets. Very nice bell like sound, but a bit low in output.
But i am a bit unhappy: the P-Bass lookalike is not "fat" enough and the stacked one is too silent. I am considering to enhance it with a transformer - the reduction of the treble resonance will probably not be a problem. But space for the transformer is a real problem...
The bridge pickup is a pretty hot thunderbucker like beast: 7.5 k on each coil and two alnico blades, in the box of an epiphone mini. (The same construction is in the white EB-0). That's a really nice and universal tone.
