DIY SG bass: body contour taken from the Epi EB-3 but larger cutaways made of Alder. Neck: NOS made for Framus J-375, Guitar humbuckers. A real beast: You cane tune a .108" GHS Brite Flat E down to C and it still sounds not a bit slabby.
What about the Gibson Les Paul Junior DC? Technically a modern SG bass, its own form, but a tiny little bit inspired from the very first EB-0s?

There's a 2nd Epi EB-3 in Cherry only slightly modified (sidewinder). Unfortunately i do not have any picture of it. I recently gave it to one of my sons.
