Thank you Sir! Glad to be here! I've always played long scale but wanted a short scale bass so I could sit in that recliner and play comfortably. I bought the Epiphone version and was so impressed with it that I had to have the real deal. I'll be adding pictures of some of my other basses a little later on.
I hope everything I've read and heard on the web about it will satisfy my needs!
It's a Babicz FCH bridge. They recently came out with one designed to replace the OE 3 point Gibson/Epiphone bridge. I have them on both my Fender's as well - love them! There's a thread somewhere on them just recently. They are available directly from Babicz directly (Babicz Guitars USA - Welcome to the Babicz Guitars USA website) or on several on line sources like eBay & Amazon.Nice!

No, I think it's going to be sweet!Just wanted you to know that I went with a second set of TI's Flats. I absolutely love them so why go with something else, right? Hehe...
And guess what? In the same run I ordered a DiMarzio Model One P120. Been longing to try it out for about two full years now so I decided to finally make the leap and spend som real cash on my bass!
I'm already thinking of replacing the rear mini humbucker with the neck one after seeing different basses with dual darkstars! Á la Phil Lesh:ish!
What do you think, is it gonna be to muddy?

I've finally gotten my EB3 to the point where it's playable, and I'm kinda in love with it now.
It's the honeymoon time now...I'll probably wanna start modding later.
This one was made in Canada...Called the Negative Series. I have modded it quite a bit. Will Power neck pup, 5 ply pickguard, Hipshot Supertone bridge, Witch Hat knobs.
You may want to remove the covers and try Plasti-dipping them. It's a rubberized coating that comes in a spray can, and you can peel it off if you don't like it. Check Lowe's or Home Depot. It may need to be re-applied from time to time, but it's worth a shot, and it costs about $5/can. People use it to black out chrome trim on their car exterior(including me
). The pole pieces will still be chrome, but the covers will be flat black. The stock neck pup cover is a seperate piece from the bobbin, so you won't have to worry about getting it on the bobbin itself. Worth a shot, at least!
