Any time! If you check youtube, there's a lot of videos showing how to apply it to vehicle trim. It's the same concept for blacking out your covers. It's not as durable as paint, but if you don't dig into the covers with your thumbnail, it should hold up alright. It's real simple to work with, just make sure you work in a well ventilated area, or outside if possible.

Thanks. Would you mind telling me what year they were released and the MSRP? I haven't had time to dig into searching yet, and the main features on this bass I love are the White color with the Maple FB with MOP Trap inlays - the rest of it I could mod to preference.

I've seen a few White SG/EB's (not sure which) but never seen a Maple FB on any until yours. Again, it's a very cool bass and I need one asap.

Released in 2009 only. What is MSRP? It's the only one I have ever seen. Attached is the add for them.

Hey guys, I originally started a thread about this in the electronics section but it sank like a rock. Has anybody bypassed the tone choke in an eb-3? I'm not wild about the heavy lowpass filtering going on in pos 1, and I don't really use pos 4. Ideally I'd like to run the mudbucker full range and blend it with the bridge pickup. My other question is can the pots be rewired to be more blend friendly (like a Les Paul)? As it is now lowering the volume on one pickup really kills the output when both pickups are on. Thanks in advance!

Hi Wade - I'm sure between eBay, StewMac and/or a general search you should be able to find black covers for those. Plus, maybe a post in the Luthier thread will get an answer. Good luck.

You can bypass the switch entirely and retire it Volume/Volume/Tone. This is how the SG basses are wired these days, and it works well. There is a slight volume difference with both on full, but it is just that, slight.

I have a question: do you know a cheap case that can properly fit a short scale EB?

I have a short scale EB3 (not the japanese elitist series, but a chinese reissue) and I'm looking for a case to fit it, but the original Epiphone case is way too expensive.

I appreciate the help!
