Share your Gig Posters

Anyone want to share their gig posters? Could be a good way to get some ideas. It would be cool to include what program/website you used to create them.

I made this one with Photoshop Elements. I made it to fit on a legal sized sheet of paper so it is cheep and easy to print.

We don't make one for every gig but here is one from last summer. We try not to put pictures of the band in the poster as we are getting older and no exactly eye candy so we don't want to scare them away.

I would just like to add. We always found that the best places to hang them to get better turn out are in the bathrooms of the bar/club venue about two weeks prior to the gig. Also, we always give the venue a large part of page space with large font and their logo big too if they have one. This seemed to appeal to the venue owner's ego and we found the bar owner would let us hang them pretty much anywhere we wanted to in his bar. That way it looked like we were promoting his bar as much as the band. Just sayin.

Very cool! I like the idea of the Facebook cover. The idea of using the bar/venue logo is good as well. I also need to check out Adobe Illustrator. Those posters are sweet.

Here is my attempt at a FB cover. Size is 13.3" by 5.7" using Photoshop.
