some impressive stuff here. any advice to those of us that don't have expensive programs or aren't graphic designers?

You don't need an expensive program to get good results. It's mainly about 2 things,

1- knowing what you're doing (being a graphic designer helps of course but some people with no formation do very well still)
and
2 - having a certain knack for it...or good taste

Well also be willing to spend some decent time designing it...


also, its easy to find expensive programs for free ::cough::ifyouknowhatimean::cough::....

Yes. See post #78.

I did a lot of posters in Excel with Word-Art and some snapshots too. Put it on a flash drive, go to a Kinkos or something to get it printed and there you go.
