I love that color! I didn't remember MIM Standards coming in that color. I thought only American Standards were available in Sage Green. Rosewood looks so much better than the pao ferro Fender use these days (and I generally like pao ferro, just not Fender's pao ferro, they must have gotten a boatload of ugly pao ferro for cheap!). It's probably a ceramic pickup though. I know some people love the ceramic pickups in MIM Standards but I'm definitely not one of them. It's an easy and reasonably cheap upgrade if you don't like it so I say GET IT!!!!

Nope! Year 2000 started Alnico pickups and ceramic's demise....

She's a Beauty for sure...I always wanted one of those....A Custom Shop 62 or a Pure Vintage 63 sounds great in those!

Congratulations! I love that color. The serial number suggests to me that it's a 2002. I have a 2002 Mexican Fender Jazz Bass, and it's excellent.
You did great, paying $400.
