Awesome. I have the matching strat with maple neck...2003. What a great year for colors...the alternate was Agave Blue.

I remember the Agave Blue too. I had used Sages and Agaves in my sights for a couple years, never came across a nice one for < $500...finally gave up the quest. That was ~ eight years ago!

So now we’re wondering about the authenticity of a MiM P Bass.

When I bought my Am Standard P back in ‘96 it was $600, and the MIM Standards hanging next to it were $150. I wanted to see USA on the headstock, but now I know that a P Bass is a P Bass.

I love that color! I didn't remember MIM Standards coming in that color. I thought only American Standards were available in Sage Green. Rosewood looks so much better than the pao ferro Fender use these days (and I generally like pao ferro, just not Fender's pao ferro, they must have gotten a boatload of ugly pao ferro for cheap!). It's probably a ceramic pickup though. I know some people love the ceramic pickups in MIM Standards but I'm definitely not one of them. It's an easy and reasonably cheap upgrade if you don't like it so I say GET IT!!!!

If he doesn't bite, for reasons I don't fully understand, those sell for quite a bit more than $440. I think I saw one listed for $1200 on here last week. And yes, they were like $200 new.
