I think $440 is a good deal for that one (barring any unforeseen issues). It looks to be in nice shape (as long as the cat thing isn't painted on). Those sage green ones were selling used for at least that much many years ago....(desirable color, less common). Recalculated for today's massive used price increases, it's actually a bargain. Frets look okay, no grooves seen, hit them with some steel wool, cleans 'em up nicely. Also, disregard comments about MIM Fenders automatically having fret sprout, as if the frets were never dressed at the factory to begin with. Anything less than $440 is pure gravy. Good luck.

Looks like a good bass to me.
Used MIM standard. I would offer $400 "if that'll get let me know" "otherwise good luck and if it doesn't sell in the next day or two my offer stands"...as long as the truss rod is functioning correctly.

I'm still new and learning but I like options. I have an ibanez srx2ex1 that I really like but I keep hearing p basses that have a totally different sound that I also like. The wentz bass is ap but just doesn't have what I really like. I have a bronco also and I think it sounds better than the Wentz

I've had someone offer me a 2003 Fender P base in sage green what I'm curious about is, is this a real one and should I jump on it for 440?

if you can find an instrument that you'd consider a "dream bass" for $500 or less = winner winner chicken dinner.

I have the same bass in the same color. Same model year, I think. Buy it.

(I later swapped out the stock pickups for an EMG GZR set, and it went from really good to great. A beast.)

Awesome. I have the matching strat with maple neck...2003. What a great year for colors...the alternate was Agave Blue.
