Show me your '51 Style P Basses

Recently, I've really been wanting one of these. So talkbass, add some fuel to the GAS fire! All brands welcome. I'd really like to see if any one has done some cool mods to one as I'm thinking about getting a Douglas Pieces and adding eb-3 pickups and a 5 way switch to it.

Yes! I have bought one recently. It's a Squier Classic Vibe 50's in Butterscotch Blonde. I have added the covers.

No photos convenient to be posted now, but I've got a sunburst Japanese Fender Reissue from the 90's and a new butterscotch Squier Classic Vibe. Really like them both. Got a compliment on the Japanese one at our last gig. I love these basses.

Here's mine:

51 MIJ reissue neck, Mike Dirntz body, drilled for string thru w/Badass III, Seymour Duncan SPB-3 p/u & custom made, ugly-ass tortoise pickguard.

Though I could never ever see myself just having one bass... If I had to, this would be my desert island bass. I won't play it for awhile, but when I pick it up... Wow! It's the sound in my head, not to mention that perfect feeling neck! My Favorite.

Here's my MIJ 51 Reissue. The neck on this thing is just beautiful but I hated the pickguard and took it off. I covered the wire routing hole with a Fender finger rest. Some wood, strings and a pickup - what more do you need?
