I have my HP/LP right before my compressor!View attachment 3419325 Just trimmed down further, added the HPF today, not sure where to insert it, but decided it needed to go before the DI for sure, and might be best before the compressor so the low stuff I want to cut won't activate the comp.
tl;drI'd like to understand this more. I am OCD-ish...but I would never use the word "suffer" to describe any of my OCD tendencies as I never experienced it holding me back from something I wanted to do. It would slow me down a little, but never as a block. My ticks have been subtle and have changed over the years...I used to (but at some point I stopped doing this) count a lot when I would take napkins or something like that for example.
So what do you feel? Is it that when you turn a pedal sideways you will have an undying urge to put it straight every time you look at it...and that's all your mind can fixate on or is it physical? I smoked cigarettes a LONG time ago and every now and again when the weather gets nice and I smell a cigarette (especially if I am sipping coffee) I will get a really warm feeling inside and a SUPER strong craving for a smoke. I don't do anything about it, and usually within a minute or 2 the warmness inside and craving goes away and I'm almost surprised at myself that I had such a strong urge because once it is gone the thought of having a smoke is a big turn off.
What's it like? If you were to put the pedal side-ways...it would distract you when you try to play or would there be some physical discomfort? Would you not be able to play? I just want to understand it more since I'm in the camp of "turn it and you'll get used to it" but I know it isn't always so simple.
Ryan has always been really good about custom requests. I saw a few other small box orders that he did for some customers and decided to take the plunge. I'm pretty stoked on this board.Hi there,
Did you reshouse the pedals or is that something new that Ryan is doing? @rratajski . Too cool!Great looking board man!
Best wishes,
Brent

So, on my soon to be new set up, I have my always on pedals sideways on the top row, and the ones I need to stomp are on the bottom row.I just don’t like the way it looks. I mean, you could argue that it’s no more/less OCD than using a pedal board where they’re mounted all in a row. Also, in this case the pedal has two foot switches, which is hard for me to operate in the vertical format.
What kind of pedal is the one with the tube?

its amazing, replaced my phat phuk B, which ive had on my board forever.
Hey! That Mantic pedal looks like it's got one of my stomp buttons on it!current mini board
There's a thread on that, and it seems to boil down to preference. I just acquired a Broughton H+LPF this last Friday as a matter of fact.... I read the entire at lunchtime. The short version is that there are good arguments for LPF before, as as well as after the compressor. I even saw several preferences to after all pedals, but before the amp/FOH, as well as a few preferences toward the amplifier effects loop.not sure where to insert it
What are the approximate dimensions of this?
wow.....ok.....does it beat out the ValveCasters and BugCasters too
What's send-return on loop A is doing? I can trace loop B by cable, but A is just mysterious.
