Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Just ordered the last two pedals before I build my board. One will be here Wednesday and the other the following Monday. I am trying to fit 8 pedals and the TrueTone OneSpot on an 16” x 11” board. It will be tight. The easy fix is to mount the power supply in bottom. We shall see.

My Lil'ToneBoard, not quite 8 pedals... there's a Brought always on HPF hidden under the Nano+ along with a OneSpot to power it all.

With the SV Pre and the Ampeg pre, which do you find you go to more? Doing any preamp stacking?

I find the Ampeg Classic works best with my fretless AGBes and my EUB for the particular semi-acoustic jazz/blues/classic rock trio I'm working with now. I use a smaller board for that trio as we're usually flying light. The Broughton pedals are better suited for more 'electric' experiences. The Ampeg Classic is pretty benign.

Why do you use the red hpf/lpf AND an lpf?

The HPF on the input helps tame the bottom before going to the OD or tone stacks. The LPF+HPF at the end of the chain rounds it all out... if I had any 'spacial' effects like reverb or chorus, they'll go after the LPF+HPF.

I originally only had the LPF+HPF but after a few discussions with some nice knowledgable folk, decided to try the always on HPF at the beginning of the chain and I liked it.

Took this picture at rehearsal yesterday. Shure glxd doubles as my tuner, darkglass microtubes X for dirt, tc nova repeater for delay and modulation.

That big old empty space is killing my though. Gonna have to figure out what else is going on there. My power supply only has two 100mA outputs left. So that’s been limiting

Is that a Boss board?

I haven’t gotten to my DIY board project yet but did just pick this Accel board up. It’s only 15” wide and has 2 decks plus a shelf underneath, ostensibly for a power supply, but in my case my Milkbox is hiding under there. Couple pedals will be replaced eventually but I think this has all the space I actually *need*... it will be more compact (tightly arranged) with the upcoming pedals.
