Show me your compact pedalboard setup

^ agreed.
That’s also how I’ve done it for a while, BUT, I just moved the compressor to after the dirt and I like the results better. Right now I have the Wampler Ego compressor right before the VT bass. I’m going to try it after the VT bass next since I use a Radial JDI for my end-of-chain direct box anyway.

the moral of the story is that you’ll never know what works best for you until you try all the different variations. Don’t be afraid to experiment.

Totally agreed. Comp first is where Is start, but those cables can be unplugged and moved.

I like comp first because I generally don’t like how dirt pedals respond to peaks of low-end information. Distortion also compresses the signal so I feel like the comp after heavy distortion isn’t really “compressing” as much, though with a nice colored compressor you can do some post-dirt tone shaping. Obviously, generally speaking IME, YMMV, ETC ;)

I added lego to my audio interface and cabsim so it fitted on the same shelf as my board. Now it's a mini pedalboard

LEGO is cool!
Two weeks ago I made myself an expression fader because I do not see any sense for myself in a full-fledged expression pedal due to the fact that it will not be necessary to use it so often and in order not to expand the PB. I also want to add a button to this fader to make it easier to switch preset banks with your foot)

I want to give this more than one like! So cool!

One of my basses is missing it's back cover and I made a lego replacement for it. I just need to find a nice way to mount it.

What brand is that HPF/LPF on the top left? I’ve never seen that before.

LEGO is awesome, period. Back when I used to have a Line6 G10 on my board I was so worried about that USB connector to break or detach anytime that I had built a sort of platform where I could zip-tie it and hide it. Then I expanded the platform to fill up all the gaps in between pedals and have all the cables running under it. It looked like a giant Lego laboratory. Sucks that I didn't take any picture of it.

I wanted to do this upgrade a long time now... got this baby last night for 100 euros. Not a bad price, considering its in a pretty good condition. It seems to be some kind of early version 1. Like the one Behringer copied. I ve got to mention a couple of things after side to side comparison, (BTW i really wanted to test myself after all the rumors that the 2 pedals are pretty much the same) Well in my ears Sansamp is more Natural sounding, has less gain than Behringer but better note clarity and much much less noise. In fact when daisy chained with the digital Zoom, the behringer was almost unpleasantly noisy. Sansamp is not. Is Behringer an amazing clone i will keep as a backup ? Hell yes ! Is it better than the original ? don t thing so. But that is just my opinion : )

P.S Strong internal conflict about trading my nano + for a nano, and downsizing. I am afraid i ll regret it.
