Last update for a while. Moved to a different HX Stomp because they were on sale and they wouldn’t credit the difference but would let me swap. I do have a two button switch to add when it gets in, but this guy does everything I need.

Was playing with a board that had like 8-10 pedals on it. Band has time to record an EP end of May so I decided to simplify for finalizing and practicing parts. Really been liking this. Occasionally a filter or fuzz off the board after the QF2.
My board got a slight update with some Taylor Swift OC-2 action. Been playing with the order but I actually live octave->compressor.
Been doing a lot on the Stomp recently. My main preset has fuzz, chorus, delay on the footswitches and a tube pre always on. My synth preset has fuzz, chorus, and an envelope with the same always on tube pre.
The double footswitch on lower right is preset up/down on the stomp. I like having all my stomp switches in a row and hard to miss.

Compact-ish. Fits in my SKB briefcase. I built this as my “B” board. Still have some power details to work out.
There's also this mini board.
Bass into Switchblade.
Parallel loop 1 is a bright gritty Hot Cake (cutting)
Parallel loop 2 is a drag compressor (thick)
Dry is passed and is prominent. (Clear and dynamic)
The octave pedal is in the COMP loop, but not often used)
I emailed Earthquaker Devices about this and was wondering if there's a trim pot inside the pedal to tame the volume knob. Haven't heard back from them yet!!
Updated the small board, that's for a jazz quartet.
Holy cow this is a sweet bunch of pedals. Would love to hear how these all work together in a Jazz Quartet!!
Make no mistake, this is a killer board I would love to plug into! But... what does one do in a jazz quartet with a Subsonic, FMeron, and Doom 2?

There isn't. However if you're handy with a Soldering Iron you can swap the Pot out with one with a Linear Taper and it will make it more dial-in-able.
My problem with it is that even at the minimum gain setting it’s almost too much. Not sure a linear taper pot would fix that. That said, notice I said almost: I still think it sounds great.
I've decided to go dual compact boards for 2024; planning on having another compact board for recording/more straight forward gigs, this one is a bit more specialized, can do guitar and bass when needed; it's wired for stereo but with the Canvas can be summed to mono pretty easily. Loving the sound of the Regal DI as my last in chain setup
Had to move the Broughtons to the top because of routing and wanting the BBA first in the chain. Space in the middles is for an H9 Max, which really goes after the infinity, but will return to the Infiniti via the Aux in.

Thanks both! The Messenger Jr is always on, to tune to the room acoustics, depending on the amp. For the straight-ahead swing and latin stuff I admit I generally don't use anything else. But for more modern and fusion tunes, there are some good use cases. E.g. I set the FMeron to +1 octave only, 100% wet with little frequency modulation, this gives me a cool glitchy tone for solos. The Doom 2 can emphasize this with its octave fuzz character (think Bill Frisell). The Subsonic is perfect for synthy stuff, say if anyone calls Chameleon at the jam, but also great during a drum solo over a repeated pattern. I play the same pattern one octave above and engage the octaver, this adds volume in a subtle way.
re-wired the board to make it a little easier to swap out or add to the chain when we hit the studio in a few weeks.
First time seeing this thread, some very interesting stuff here. For this year, I downsized, and really like where this landed. I mainly play classic and some prog rock and haven't gigged in a while, but still like the flexibility it offers. I am seriously considering dropping the Peterson to free up additional space and just using the Element tuner, for now.
