Show me your compact pedalboard setup

Times have changed and so have the tools. TASTY.

Not sure mine qualifies, but I am going to swap out the pretty olive wood for a more utilitarian piece of 1/2" x 6" x 16" poplar sprayed flat black. I space my pedals 100 mm o.c., which is the same spacing as my Boss BCB-3 boxes.View attachment 2829514
But that wood is so cool!

If you don't want the natural look, that shape would be perfect to paint like seafoam and white to mimic a 50s chevy tailfin. =0)

Gotta agree, that wood is pretty awesome. Kinda lovin’ it.
You do what you need, though.

I have a question about the Pedal Train type boards, or any boards that run cords underneath them. What is the typical height of the board itself on the front. Is there an industry standard? And is it a "reach" to step up to your pedals?

I'm currently using an "in the case" type of board, but I'm outgrowing it. So, I'm looking into a custom DIY build.

My BC-1X came in last night, and I've wired it up in one of my vintage Boss BCB-3 cases. I only had a few minutes to fiddle around with it before I had to go to a concert, but I'll have more time this weekend. This coming week, I'll be able to compare the AC-2, AC-3, and AD-2 acoustic pedals.
