...Did I mention that I love this Bass ?


...I say that often to my bandmates. They laugh and tell me they love it too. It sounds wonderful, stays in tune very well, makes me happy, and just the joy of it makes me play more creatively, If I say so myself, and my bandmates agree... (we play mostly RealBook Jazz).

Am I "gushing"... ? I 'reckon so...

Here be some grain. This one is destined to get a Mary Kaye finish but it plays so well that I am reluctant to give it up for the paint time.

Forgot to show my acoustic basses. Gold Tone GT MicroBass 23" scale mahogany with poly strings, and a custom solid (not laminate) acacia koa 22" with nylon core round wound strings.

Wudtone finishes on swamp ash. I re-contoured the body, re-shaped the padauk neck/headstock, Warmoth/Fralin/Pope.
