Man, some of you guys have amazing rooms, I bet the acoustics are really nice. And @Ken R has more instruments than some music stores I've seen. Extremely jealous.

Living in a small apartment, I don't have a huge room, but I have it filled with as much gear as I possibly can afford on a journalist's salary. The acoustic kit is actually in another room.

Just one guitar and one bass these days. They're the keepers, amazing instruments.

Because I only play 21 to 24 inch scale bass, I can fit more stuff in a smaller space. This is my second bedroom that I've always used as an office. For the 28 years I've lived here (my family owns the apartment building and I manage it), I would keep my guitars and ukulele in the living room, but when I started playing bass over 3 years ago, I set up the corner of my office as my music space. Just a couple of weeks ago I added a work station below the rack of basses. The shopping cart I use to transport my gear, ready to go right up on stage and play, very convenient.

On the right side is my computer section, the tablet I always use is in view and the computer is out of frame to the right where I make up all my music sheets and bass arrangements. In the foreground is a stand I use while practicing and arranging.

I was going to ask if it was some optical illusion causing all those basses to look like super short scaled basses! And then I read your post. Incredible! I didn't think there were that many 21 to 24 inch scale basses in the world. But there they are.

I believe he’s made most of them from other bass ukuleles. Pretty bada$$ creations.

Many of them are bass ukes, a couple are custom and the rest are junior guitars converted to bass.
