This is really cool.
Seems like a great place to vibe and make music with some cool people to me.
I remember that one, your Daughter painted a mural on the doors.
Newly arranged bass room. Was inspired by another thread here on TB to make homemade wall hangers. Love the result

I'm thinking of getting a sign made that reads "Morgan Bass Shoppe" and putting it above the door of the room.
OT, tubatodd reminded me of this- this sign could look sweet in someone's music room/bar/mancave

This was my son's room in the basement until he finished school and moved on. It's in a great spot in the basement on the opposite end of the house from the other bedrooms so I can still play at night. I don't have anywhere near the gear that some of the others on here do but I love what I have.
The former closet now houses the toys...

Thanks, I was repainting the room anyway so I figured that would be a nice touch so that the wood “beams” weren’t super obvious. Here is a pic of the actual hangers. They are from string swing are pretty low profile

Mine are String Swings as well. I had to use the drywall anchors for all but 1 of the hangers. That 1 hanger seemed to have found a stud. So yeah, there are a lot of hidden holes (and hidden pencil marks) in the walls now. How do you have the wood beams anchored? I believe I've seen where you posted these pictures before. I really like the aesthetic of the guitar closet. It has a very cool look and feel to it. I recently hung up a bunch more Fantoons art and some autographed albums in our office. Your framed pictures remind me of it. It's a good look! I need to add some more flare to my bass room.

As for those stencils, my daughter found those for me, it's been about 4 years since I painted the room and put those up so I don't remember exactly where. Look for "wall art stencils", there's lots of places that have them. Sorry no exact details. I do know they were pretty inexpensive and I've been happy they stayed up so well.
Liking your room, nice to be a bright and open space like that. I have an egress window that we put in when we made it a bedroom but not as much light in that way. And especially not this time of year. All those frames are important personal things, pictures of family, my grandpa, old band mates, newspaper articles from past bands, signed guitar from Blackberry Smoke, and artwork from each of my kids. It's just great to have a space to make your own.
Yes, the wood beams are going straight into the studs. And the string swings are only going into the wood beam. That way I could space the hangers exactly how I wanted them without having to worry about studs for each bass
