What an AMAZING TB thread with tons of great room examples.
I live in a tiny. 3 story walk up, 700sq ft apartment in Brooklyn NY. Needless to say, I can't even fit a few cases in my apartment much less all my gear, so I recently leased some industrial space about 1 mile from my apartment building to house all my gear and turned the space into a recording / jam room. I started this project back in December of 2019 and it's pretty much almost done. Aside from the wood floors, it was a complete demo and reconstruct job. I've always wanted to do something like this.
The walls and ceiling were taken down to the studs and then soundproofed with multiple layers of soundboard and insulation behind the final sheetrock layer. I also had the drop ceiling removed and put in a soundproofed ceiling as well and recessed lighting. One of my favorite parts of the aesthetics of the room is the view of the bridge right in front of my recording desk ... and at night it lights up and changes colors

There are still about 20 basses not shown that have to be brought over and I have a bunch of gear set up in my band's rehearsal space around the corner ... I'll add a pic of that here too at the bottom.
The pics below only show the left side of the room, the guitar side, I will post the cabinets, heads and effects side when the room is completed.
