try DR hi-beams or fat-beams. the fat-beams completely changed the sound of my bongo, making it more mid-rich and piano-like.

Used this and my Elrick NJS 5 on the last church gig...

not a giant fan of that body shape (but it is very nice dont get me wrong) but WOW! that Fretboard is just wow amazing, like really. Wow!

Yeah, it's a Moses neck, Warmoth body, Sadowski pre, and Seymour Duncan pickups. Here's my fretless:

round core DR strings are too flexible for me. Even though I play with a light touch, I would always get alot of fret noise on my Fender jazz deluxe V. You notice anything like that?

No, i don't get any fret buzz. i play with relatively heavy touch too, but my action is not too low to create buzz. i guess i set the action low enough to accomodate my touch without going too low.

Anyway, I play all my basses in church... I'm hoping my soon to be completed Skjold is going to change that.

Yeah, but you dwarf me in absolutely every aspect/area of bass playing heheh. I thought you were a nickle guy for some reason or another. Maybe I'll give the fatbeams a chance, I was playing hi-beams at the time.
