Man, that Steinberg/BCRich frankenbeast is pretty nasty looking IMO. Reminds me of another DN I'd seen somewhere that was a standard 4 string bass with one of those Asbury Nylon stringed super short scale things growing out of the upper horn. Can't find the pic tho...

They have that on the Exit Stage Left video, when I first saw them jump out in the "rocking" part of the Xanadu intro after the drum intro, I thought that it was either the most ingenious piece of live playing ever or the most pompous thing.....being prog rock I thought the latter was more likely the case
