CTbass&birdsong you dog! I've been eyeing that thing since Jim got it in new. Didn't even got a chance to get down there and play it yet! Last time I was at the Gallery, Jim hadn't even unpacked any basses yet. But I belive I met you there, without knowing it was you! I hope you enjoy that thing.

Well, I definitely got bit by the F Bass bug at NAMM, and I have recently had the opportunity to spend an extended period of time with a lovely BN5. So, despite logic and reason telling me that no way do I need another bass, I just had to snap this baby up:

It should be a nice compliment to the BN5 I have on order with George.

I really like that as well, and the amazing thing is, no CNC!

This is one more reason why George's 'topped' basses cost more. He told me it's like twice the effort of making a bass without a top.

Took you long enough to catch on! I've always wondered how a consummate gear-whore like yourself got along without a few F-basses in your harem. That spalted maple top is gorgeous; nice symmetry too. But...isn't she missing one or two strings?

Twice the effort so to justify the new price list...

a figured top = stock bass
a figured top on a stock bass = 2 stock basses.

My dream basses to date tho.. lucky i got them before the price hike.

Actually, I believe that is spalted/flamed ambrosia.

I have a 5ver on order, and I find that on certain songs, a 4 just 'feels' right.

Nice BN4! Get a BNF or AC when your BN5 is done for the ultimate fretless.

I don't have it yet, so I cannot say. But I predict great things!

Who's case is that? Is it an F Bass option? It does not look like the standard F Bass Gig Bag. (Which I love)

Not sure yet, as the bass is still en route.

That is a gorgeous BN4! I'd love one.

The case is a TKL Zero-Gravity that he offers as on option, when he has them. I bought the same case elsewhere and was not very happy with it.

I got my BN4, and man, it is blowing me away! I just flat out love this bass, and I really like George's neck profile on his 4-string. Here are some shots, with a couple of other basses I picked up recently:

That has to be my favorite Natural finish F Bass! The fingerboard is off the hook and the matching Spalt maple headstock is pure class! Wow!

And how about that Nordy Vj5 too? Sweet! But I have to admit, all those knobs look a little busy to my eye. Perhaps they are more user friendly in the real world.

Congrat's on the F. That one is a creampuff man!

It has the same amount of knobs that the Fbass has, so it shouldn't be to bad, but regardless, I'm gassing for both
