My semi-hollow is almost ready! I have posted a kicka$$ MK 32" scale Elfin for sale in the classifieds, will consider reasonable offers! For Sale/Trade - Martin Keith Elfin 5

Also would consider trade plus cash deal with at least $1000 coming my way. Interested in amps, cabs, and pedals. possibly basses.

Has been quiet in here! Hoping to have my semi hollow fretless 6 from Martin very soon. His finisher is swamped with work these days (good for him...bad for me).

I played a gig recently, and got some video with my beautiful semi hollow 6 string fretted bass from Martin. For anyone interested in these basses, this is a good clip of what my bass sounds like.

Neat! Are the first couple of minutes you and the piano (synth?) player, or just you generating a variety of sounds? Regardless it's some cool avant-garde jazz

Thanks so much for listening. Super appreciated! That was just me, with a looper and some reverb....and that unbelieveable Martin Keith bass. Super crazy about that instrument. There are definitely other basses on my mind that I'd love from Martin...hahaha. Easy to get excited when you find a builder that resonates with you.

The neck and set up on this bass are incredible. Very fast, super low action, and that carbon fiber/spruce/mahogany combination is super stable. It does make me want the fretless version . But I already have an amazing MK fretless, so I’ll try to resist.
I've been chomping at the bit to hear your impressions of the new bass! Hahahaha. Hope you're having fun with it!

Definitely, haven’t had a ton of playing time yet. Haven’t played it in a band setting yet.
Definitely give it some time. These are unique basses for sure. I wish that I could afford a fleet of them, but they are perfect for the specific thing that I happen to do. Don't be afraid to try some different strings on it as well. I put some rounds on once, and then wanted a duplicate bass with rounds...lol.
