Show us your Martin Keith Basses

The bass arrived yesterday, but I’ve only had about 20 minutes to play it so far. I literally can’t put into words how good it is. This thing is off the charts in every conceivable way. Martin is so amazingly gifted. I have owned and or played all of what I consider to be the nicest fretless instruments on the planet, F Bass AC, top-of-the-line Zon and Roscoe, marleaux, Jerzy. This bass is just outstanding sounding and the build quality is as good or better than anything. Incredible.

You should hear it through that Glock rig Andy! Holy smokes.

you nailed it with the comment about dynamic range. I’ve never played anything this responsive.

and, those Lane Poor’s are as amazing as we remember them. For real.

The Citrons are really nice. I only have had these black tapes E-F on this bass (I put B-G rounds on it briefly but the instrument really seems to like the black tapes) and it sounds really warm and sweet, with just a little thickness/fur in the mids. Nice, open natural top end. I like them a lot more than a lot of dual coils Ive tried.
