Actually my Fodera is 16.5 mm I did 17.5 mm with the Deep because the strings is a bit thicker than steel strings and he doesn't change the neck profil even if it's 17.5 or 16.5m

The spacing on my MB5 is definitely tighter than my 19mm Fodera. The thick tapes make a difference, but it has tighter spacing for sure. I would guess 17.5-18mm. I should figure out how to measure it one of these days....

Decent tape measure, but you need to look center-to-center which can be a challenge. If you have calipers you could do inside-inside and outside-outside then string thickness then do math but I'm too lazy for that

reminds me on brass band jazz from south east europe

as i struggle with my intonation i´ve never had the balls to give such a modern bassgroove a try on my RA mouse

Not true. Rob has modified the profile of every one of my RAs to date. If you buy "off the shelf" at a store, no, but custom orders? You betcha. On my original Deep 4, he reinforced the neck because I used the bottom four strings of the RS885 set. He also did a special bridge to accommodate higher action on my newer Deep 4, so things like this are not unheard of with him. The neck shaping Rob did on my Deep 4 is just amazing.
