Gigged my Deep 4 fretless recently at a winery and it sounded sweet! Loving the black nylon tapewounds for the upright vibe. Recorded my guitarist's original tribute to Jan Hammer called "Nebula," this time direct through a REDDI into a Zoom H6. First time I recorded everything direct - bass, lead guitar, guitar/drum loop. Thanks to nostatic for recommending the H6.
Hi all,
I put a new volume pot in my MB-2 but do not know where to re-solder the lead from the capacitor![]()
I assumed that it goes on the trim pot but it hums loudly when I connect it.
Can someone please let me know where it goes?
Thanks !!!
LIKE'd and commented on youtube. Great clip. Thanks. I'm strongly considering a deep 4 in the next year or two. Much appreciated. Great tone!
Thanks man! I appreciate it!
I just resigned from that jazz project but am moving on to a reboot of an older project, The Stormy Weathermen. It's a mix of original instrumental surf/middle eastern/world music so later this year I'll be sharing some of that when I use the fretless Deep 4. I suspect the lion's share of that music will be made with my RA Solid 4.
This is what it looks like in my bass, hope that helps:
