Hi all,
I put a new volume pot in my MB-2 but do not know where to re-solder the lead from the capacitor
I assumed that it goes on the trim pot but it hums loudly when I connect it.
Can someone please let me know where it goes?

I just resigned from that jazz project but am moving on to a reboot of an older project, The Stormy Weathermen. It's a mix of original instrumental surf/middle eastern/world music so later this year I'll be sharing some of that when I use the fretless Deep 4. I suspect the lion's share of that music will be made with my RA Solid 4.

I have been playing my Mouse 30 a lot. Does the smaller body size feel a little odd when sitting? I generally stand when playing mine and seemed to notice my wrist angle isn't as good with the Mouse 30 while seated and working on some lessons.
Yeah, I'd probably agree with that. A little weird when sitting but one thing I've noticed is that on gigs (while standing) this is the most organic bass to play and sing with at the same time. That smaller body and shorter scale means you get to get in a little tighter with you, the bass, and the mic. I like it!
It sits closer to your thigh.... so I sit with right leg crossed over left, or drop my office chair so my knees are higher than my hips. Done. 
Gotcha. Thanks. I hadn't played and sat down with the Mouse 30 in quite a while. I've missed it. The fact that I can practice without an amp while the baby is sleeping is nice.
First found out about Rob Allen basses through a Bass Player magazine review and already back then knew that "you'll be mine one day precioussssssss".. Fast forward to december 2013 where I-don't-know-how the whole RA-love came back on my radar. Just struggled through this entire megathread (yes parts I->IV

Thursday I ended up playing my deep 4 for pretty much all of both sets. They are special instruments. At one point I was doing this descending solo thing and kept going, detaining the E a step in between figures. Audience was going crazy (they love us at this venue). I found out that you can detune the E to around A and it'll still make noise
