This started off its life as a fretted Stingray, then an evil Vampire Killer replaced the neck. It's heavy, it's beat-up...but it just sings. If I could play fretless, we'd all be in trouble.

Really? Even with the old style bridge? This bass sports a black pearl guard now...I'll post an updated photo of all my basses.

Mine isn't a stingray, but it plays and sounds like one.

It may not look like much, but it's amazing how good it sounds.

Needs new frets though....I wore em out awfully quick.

Here's a shot of the group with my newest Ray, the black pickguard is from old Bovine himself. If you look really close at the orange Ray, you'll see that even though the pickup cover is a different color the strings are exactly the same!

Yes, that's a Sabre. It was my first MusicMan bass. The rosewood board Sabres are a lot less common for some reason.

Sure is a sweety!! Is it a EB or pre EB? Looks sweet and yes I have never seen a rosewood board Sabre before. I have a Sabre on my list of basses to get.
