Whoever said "You don't own all those!" was correct. Many of those are no longer with me. Right now, the current group is:

1. honeyburst/rosewood Stingray 5 (2002)
2. white fretless Stingray 4 (1996)
3. Black Sparkle Stingray 4 (2000)
4. Black Sparkle Sterling (1999)
5. White Sparkle Sterling (2002)

And of course the Graphite Pearl Bongo 5 is on order at Bass Central. (Do I seem to have a MM problem?)

It's an EB-era Sabre, in general I like the later Sabres best. The early ones have three mini-switches, the later have one lever switch like on the Sterling and SR5. More usable sounds from the lever wiring in my opinion. Great basses, and the prices have dropped recently.

with years there's many damages on, that's why she's for now at the luthier workshop for a complete revival

i love the bass, it's brand new, and that new pickguard is great quality, a lot better than the tacky metal one.

i got it at a great price, and for a price like that, no other bass compares. it definately has the Stingray tone.

picked it up for $555 shipped with hardshell case and ultra stand.

It adds a lot to the mid and low range of the bass. When you put it on 50/50 which is what I keep it on almost constantly, you are talking about a SR that sounds a lot warmer and more full in sound, yet still cuts through.
