Montreux Guitars Retrovibe tort. It's ok but doesn't quite have the colour depth and pattern of originals. I have now reinstalled the original 3-ply black pickguard.

I like this tort pickguard because the first celluloid ply is under a thick transparent layer. It look like a jade structure.

The price is little higher, but the quality is fine and fit standard Fender P and Squier CV/VM P.
I have bought 4 ply tort and vintage mint green from this seller, now i just keep the Mint guard and sell up the 4 ply tort.

I love split fire tort too, but when i found a great contour one , its always pricey.
This pbass tort pickguard is unname china brand,but really nice with jade-like structure.

Don't scare because it is from chinese cutting. I can tell you, all 13 holes is line up well with standard Fender P and Squier CV & VM P.

Another thing i have to mention , i make a minor scratch while i install this new tort pickguard. I believe the clear and transparent upper layer is plastic-like material, so, i use a hair dryer to blow some " gentle " hot wave , after few second, the scratch is gone.

Okay, more tortiness...another shot of my P-bass guard, sunlit (same bass as post #96). It looks so much more swirly, detailed in sunlight, just an iphone camera shot, wish I had a better camera.
